Comfort
There's just nothing quite like the feel and sound of a nearly finished quilt top under the sewing machine needle. The big pieces of cotton fabric sounds so crisp. It rustles and snaps when you move it.
There's nothing like the feel of a finished quilt. Blankets are warm, but simply don't compare. There are centuries of comfort in a quilt, no matter what it looks like.
Here's a glimpse of my entry in the Project Modern Challenge. I'm almost finished with the quilt top.
I designed it and have not been very good in the past at figuring some of the math when it's up to me. But this time, it's going fairly well. I guess the practice I've been getting is paying off!
